• I’m Philip Pinder, but everyone calls me Captain Philip. My passion in life is fishing. I grew up one block from the ocean and I’ve been fishing since I was very young. Somehow, I always knew my life would involve a boat and a fishing reel. Thirty years ago, I was the first Captain to set up a deep-sea fishing charter on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

    My wife Karen and I work together to make Born Free Charter Service the best in Nassau. In 1978, we launched Born Free Charter Service with our first ship, Born Free II, a 35-foot Allman. Since then, we’ve added the Born Free III and IV, both 48-foot Chris crafts. Our goal is to continue to develop Born Free Charter Service to be the best in the Bahamas.

    Here is Born Free, our 48-foot Chris Craft. We also have the sister-ship Born Free IV. Both have comfy salons, bathroom, and are equipped with fighting chairs for your big catch. Great for luxury cruising, sightseeing, snorkelling, and fishing.

    Born Free II is our 35-foot Allman, a great fishing machine. The limit is six people per charter. There is a small cabin, bathroom, and room to get out of the sun while you rest from your catch.
